Viking was bred by Pat and Morty Jenkins of Wolfmountain Kennels in the USA and has recently arrived in Australia to Icemile Alaskan Malamutes. Viking is from "Ross", a.k.a. Am/Can Ch Poker Flat's Road Warrior WTD WLD, and out of "Watcher", a.k.a. Am Ch Wolfmountains Watchin 'Z' Terraglo. Watcher has been a top producer for Wolfmountain Kennels and this trend has contiinued with Viking. We are very grateful to Pat and Morty for their friendship and the hard work they have endured to produce this lovely puppy.

Viking is everything we could ever have wanted in a Malamute. He exhibits enormous power in his stride, a beautiful headpiece and amazing substance for a young dog. A loving temperament makes Viking the ideal addition to the Icemile clan.

In his second weekend of showing Viking was awarded two Best in Group awards (group 1) on consecutive days, as well as Runner up Best in Show at an all Breeds Championship Show. He finished his title in one month of showing in grand style by going dog challenge and Runner Up Best in Specialty show at the Alaskan Malamute Club of NSW Show under the famous Nancy Russell of Storm Kloud Kennels in the USA. We feel for any malamute owner this is the ultimate compliment, as Mrs Russell is affectionately known as the "first lady" of malamutes. He went one better at the Victorian Alaskan Malamute Club Specialty being awarded Best in Specialty Show.
